NMWS-Sponsored Workshops
The New Mexico Watercolor Society hosts an annual Spring workshop in Albuquerque, featuring a Guest Artist of significant watercolor painting skill and experience. The Guest Artist also acts as Judge/Juror for watercolor paintings submitted for the simultaneous Spring Exhibition.
Our NMWS members (statewide) also participate in the Masterworks of New Mexico Watercolor Workshop with a public painting demo and watercolor workshop, each April.
As a member of the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, a collaborative set of 12 western state watercolor societies, the NMWS members are able to participate in WFWS-sponsored watercolor workshops in the host city.
Upcoming NM Watercolor Society workshops for the Albuquerque chapter will be held at the Fine Arts Gallery on EXPO-NM (State Fairgrounds), Albuquerque, NM. Please enter through the San Pedro and Copper Gate #3.
Upcoming Southern Chapter workshops will be held at the Good Samaritan Society Village, Creative Arts Room at 3011 Buena Vida Circle, Las Cruces, NM 88011
