Friday, March 7 - Sunday, April 13, 2025
Gallery hours: Friday and Saturday from 10-2 and Sunday from 11-2 or 2:30.
Southern Chapter (SC) members (dues paid current) are invited to participate in a non-juried show at Tombaugh Gallery during March and April. Paintings must be original. Painted image size can be as small as 4 x 4 and as large as 22 x 30 (or 30 x 22) inches.

Allowable Media: Watermedia including fluid acrylics, gouache, watercolor pencils and watercolor collage. Small amounts of ink and non-watercolor pencil/pen is allowed. Ink drawings with watercolor wash is allowed.
Allowable formats:
Watercolor paper with frame, plexiglass or glass, and mat(s) of any color, OR
Watercolor paper mounted on cradle board and varnished, OR
Thin panel (aquaboard, gessoboard or watercolor board), varnished and in standard frame.
Other---ask us and we’ll let you know.
All works must be ready to hang with a wire that peaks as follows: at 3 ½ inches if frame is greater than 14 inches high and at 2 inches if less than 14 inches high.
All work must be for sale. Attach a label to the back of each piece with this information:
Name of Artist, Title, Medium, Price, Image Size (h x w) and Outside Frame Size (h x w).
Online registration will be open January 1 thru February 14, 2025. Entry fee is $25 for one painting and $35 for two. The gallery can hold about 36 paintings so get your entry in early! Limited to 2 entries per person.
IMAGES OPTIONAL: Send a photo of your painting to Arlene Tugel (fullersres[at]msn.com) BY JAN 10th, 2025 if you'd like your work to be considered to use in publicity. Send her a jpg file, 1-5 MB in size.
Tombaugh Gallery will collect money for sold paintings and retain 30% commission; Price accordingly!! They will hand a check to the artist at pickup or they will mail a check to the artist.

Intake: Monday March 3, 10-12 noon at Tombaugh Gallery
Note: You will be asked to sign a Waiver of Responsibility to Tombaugh Gallery when you deliver your painting(s). If someone other than the artist is delivering your painting, contact Nancy Tipton by March 1 and she will email a form to you. Also: Bring a bio sheet for Tombaugh’s show binder.
Artist talks: At each reception on March 7 and April 4
Opening reception: First Friday, March 7, 5 – 7 pm at Tombaugh Gallery
Second reception: First Friday, April 4, 5-7 pm
Pick up of unsold works: Monday April 14 from 10-11am
