Become a Member of New Mexico Watercolor Society
We welcome you to become part of our active group of water-media artists. Our membership offers several opportunities for participation in a variety of events and activities. There are many ways to get involved, show and sell your art, volunteer, and connect with others who appreciate and enjoy this medium.
All levels of skill and accomplishment are represented and accepted by our membership. Non-artists are also welcome. NMWS is a place to learn and share via formal workshops and demos, or more informal paint-outs and painting groups.
We offer our activities in the Albuquerque and the Las Cruces areas of New Mexico. Our membership is nationwide. You do not need to be a resident of New Mexico to become a member.
NMWS is a member of the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, so our members are eligible to enter the WFWS annual exhibit. We also offer NMWS Signature Status, which allows the use of the initials “NMWS” with your signature. (See our Signature Membership Group Guidelines page, under the MEMBERSHIP tab for details.)
