Presentation by

John Cormier

John is a full-time Senior Engineering Consultant for the Department of Energy and father of two active teenagers. John has enjoyed drawing and painting since his childhood but became more dedicated to painting when he joined the NMWS in 2018.  John became a signature member of NMWS in 2020 and became a signature member of the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies in 2024. John's paintings include landscapes, forest-scapes, winter scenes, and figures. John will be presenting a few of his techniques for watercolors including forested background texture, watercolor pointillism, soft edges, and others.
