Presentation by:

Margaret (Peggy) Herrick

Margaret Herrick began her impressive and varied art career in New York as a medical illustrator for Columbia University, and then as a freelance artist.  During this time she also traveled to Italy, and studied the great tradition of egg tempera painting from a master restorer who worked on famous historical panels from the middle ages and renaissance.  Since moving to New Mexico in 2021 she continues to paint and sketch, and is involved with different art groups, including an online zoom figure drawing group, The New Orleans Drawing Group.  She also participates in two local plein air groups. After she introduced herself at the new members meeting, we had several enthusiastic requests for her to do a talk about her art journey.  Please join us for what should be an elegant final presentation for this year.
