Drawing From the Artist’s Perspective

This presentation is specifically designed for artists wanting to expand their knowledge of perspective. The subject is pertinent across all mediums. Artists needs are unique and differ from those of architects and engineers who use traditional methods to learn perspective drawing. A sense of “correctness” will replace the need to be precise. While linear perspective is important, it’s only one component that contributes to the success of a good drawing or painting. Vasili will show us 5 basic principles that, when used together, contribute to the illusion of depth and space in our work. A brief demonstration will follow the slide presentation. Vasili has been teaching and refining this subject for over 20 years.
