Western Federation of Watercolor Societies Annual Workshop
WFWS-NMWS Sponsored Workshop:
Iain Stewart, AWS, NWS
Watercolor WORKSHOP
to take place on Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri.
May 3, 4, 5, 6, 2022
9AM to 4PM
at the Hotel Albuquerque
800 Rio Grande Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104
Topic - "Take your Painting to a Higher Level"
This Workshop is aimed at watercolor students of all levels, provided they have a working knowledge of the fundamentals of watercolor materials and drawing. See "Stewart Workshops and Materials" below to see if this workshop fits your interests.
Mr. Stewart says "I'm very hands on i.e. lots of discussion one on one with the students while they work. My goal is not just to teach but to help the students find the "why" in what they are doing. Quite often that is overlooked and I find it incredibly important. My goals in painting are not getting everything right. I look for the story of place and how that can be manipulated to create a dialogue between the viewer and creator. "
Mr. Stewart requires that all participants submit proof of COVID vaccination prior to taking the workshop.
