NMWS ABQ Monthly Meeting

HEIGHTS COMMUNITY CHURCH FELLOWSHIP HALL

The June meeting (and most future monthly meetings) will be at the Heights Community Church Fellowship Hall, located at Louisiana and Comanche, NE (6935 Comanche NE).

Exec. Comm. Members - please arrive 10-15 minutes early to help set up chairs in the meeting room.

Program:

New Member "Show and Tell". Any new-ish member who has not done this before may bring one to three matted (or framed) paintings to show to the group as a way of introducing themselves and their interests in watercolor and painting subject matter. This in NOT a critique but a way of introducing themselves and allowing the rest of the local membership to learn a little bit about the new members.

An exciting new reason to attend our monthly meetings: an opportunity for a mini critique on a first-come, first-serve basis (by appointment)!!.
This will occur during the social period in a private manner, one-on-one attention for 15 minutes and can include 1-2 paintings. Please be respectful of the time to allow for every artist to have a turn. 10:00-10:15 is the first session and 10:15 –10:30 is the second session. If you are interested in GETTING feedback or are willing to GIVE feedback, call Laura at 505-620-4560 or email her at stratospeer[at]comcast.net. Depending on the numbers of interested parties, you may be put on the waiting list for a mini critique.
