Beth Larsen will demonstrate how she uses cyanotype - an alternative photographic process - to create impressions of natural plant material which she then enhances and paints with watermedia. She’ll demonstrate steps to make the print, then bleach / tone it, then enhancing and painting it to create unique abstract botanical paintings. The presentation will begin at about 10:30, after the social time at 10:00.

NEW from the Alternative Spaces Chair, Laura Speer: during the social time, more experienced members will be available to provide one-on-one private critiques to anyone wishing to get feedback on their paintings.
