SC October meeting: Atalo Mendez Demo

Atalo Mendez is a well known El Paso watercolorist and was the placement judge for the Southern Chapter's spring show in 2018.  

He writes:  Through this demo I will share everything I know, holding nothing back, of the knowledge that I've acquired through many, many years of trial and error and sometimes ending with frustration, but with persistence achieving also success. 

In my demo we will review materials, tools, techniques, (papers, brushes, pigments, others). We will touch on perspective, composition, values, contrast, basic drawing, and to wrap it up, we will through in something about matting and framing, also reproducing your artwork for commercial purposes. In other words, what every artist dreams of, to make money with your art.
