Watercolor Weaving!
Join us on Sunday, February 13th from 2-4 for an exciting demo on watercolor weaving! Southern Chapter member Mary Diesel will be demonstrating her method for weaving and mounting watercolor. Although she considers the woven pieces as completed works of art, she also sees them as multimedia bases on which acrylic, rice paper and other media may be added.
Mary Diesel works in water media: watercolor, gouache and acrylics. She has been a member of NMWS-SC since 2018 and has shown her work at Aa Studio, MAS Art and Frame and Art Center in Las Cruces. Mary also showed her work and served as a steering committee member to help establish the Agave Artists gallery in Mesilla in 2019.
