Balsam Glade Picnic Site

The August 10th Paint Out will be at Balsam Glade Picnic Site—on the east side of Sandia Peak—from 10 am to 12 noon. From Cedar Crest, go north on N-14 (aka Turquoise Trail) for 6.5 miles. Then turn left on Sandia Crest Scenic Byway (NM 536) and drive about 7 miles (it is on the right about 1 mile past the base of the Sandia Peak Ski lift area). There will be plenty of shade from the pine trees. We will meet in the parking lot. Note: There is a fee or day use pass ($5 per vehicle).
