Jeanne Hyland
BFA degree from University of New Hampshire in figurative sculpture and drawing followed by studies
at École des Beaux Arts, France. After years in commercial design, returned to her Fine Art sculpture
roots in Colorado, participating in Loveland Sculpture Invitationals and Sedona Sculpture Walks.
Adopted watercolor as her medium after moving to California where she taught at LA Academy of
Figurative Art, Learning & Product Expo (Pasadena) and Brand Library Studios.
An award-winning
painter of unique flower & people portraits she uses her dimensional, sculptural sensibilities to
capture the forms, rhythms and personalities of her subjects. Served on Board of Directors of National Watercolor Society, and
member of numerous watercolor and national art organizations. Exhibited in National Watercolor Society,
Watercolor West, San Diego Watercolor Society and New Mexico Watercolor Society shows. Included in
International Artist Publications: How Did You Paint That? 100 Ways to Paint Still Life and Florals
