Following the success of this year's competition, the David Shepherd Wildlife
Foundation (DSWF) is delighted to announce that entries are now being accepted for Wildlife Artist of the Year 2009.
The competition : open to all amateur and professional artists over 17.
Media: The judges will accept any medium (excluding photography and film and electronically created artwork) in any style
– oil, acrylic, watercolour, pencil, mixed media, bronze, plaster, wire, collage, traditional, abstract, black & white – the list
is endless and the choice is yours.
Best of Show award: £10,000 with the overall runner-up receiving £1,000 and a personal
art class with wildlife artist and conservationist, David Shepherd CBE. In addition,
all short-listed entries will be exhibited at the prestigious Mall Galleries in
London next summer.
Entry deadline: Friday 30th January 2009. Website entry closes at midnight (30th/31st) and postal entries must be
received by 5pm on 30th January 2009.
